How we handle your data

themi.pro is a small studio that designs and showcases premium Shopify themes. We collect personal data only when you choose to contact us, and we keep that handling as narrow and honest as the rest of our work. This page explains exactly what we collect, where it is processed, and the rights you can exercise.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is themi.pro, the studio behind the themes showcased on this site. We publish a brand contact rather than a personal name. For anything related to your privacy — including the requests described below — email support@themi.pro.

What we collect, and why

We do not collect personal data in the background. We hold only what you submit through the contact form. When you send a support or sales message, we record:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your store URL;
  • the subject and the message you write;
  • any optional screenshots or PDFs you attach — these are stored with our file/CDN provider (Bunny.net) and linked from our database, so we can view them while handling your request;
  • a salted, one-way hash of your IP address — never the raw IP. The hash lets us limit abuse without storing an identifier we could reverse back to you;
  • timestamps and the status of your request (for example, new or answered).

We use these details for a single purpose: to read and answer the request you sent us, and to keep a record of our support conversation so we can help you again later.

Where your data is stored and processed

themi.pro is a mostly-static site with a thin form backend. We rely on a small number of service providers, each of which processes your data only on our behalf:

  • Vercel — hosts the site and runs the contact form's backend.
  • MongoDB Atlas — the database that stores your submission (name, email, store URL, subject, message, the salted IP hash, and status).
  • Bunny.net — stores and serves any screenshots or PDFs you attach to a message.

We do not use any advertising, third-party email-marketing, or cross-site tracking services.

Our lawful basis

We process the details in your contact form to respond to the request you sent us — that is, to act on your request and out of our legitimate interest in supporting the themes we make. We process the salted IP hash on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse; it is minimized by design, because a one-way hash with no raw IP behind it carries no standalone identifying value.

How long we keep it

We keep contact submissions so we have a history of the support we have provided — we do not auto-delete them. We can also delete your data on request, as described below.

We do not sell or share your data

themi.pro does not sell or share your personal data. We do not trade it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. The only third parties that touch it are the service providers named above, acting strictly to run this site and deliver our email on our behalf.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. We honor them regardless of your location.

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you can request access to your data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, portability, restriction of processing, and you can object to processing.

Under the CCPA and CPRA, you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data (which we do not do in any case), and to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@themi.pro. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable time. Erasure requests are honored by permanently removing your record and any attached files.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so it shows no cookie consent banner. The only cookie we set is a strictly-necessary session cookie used by our private admin dashboard — it is set only when a site administrator signs in, never for ordinary visitors.

Purchases and a note on terms

themi.pro showcases themes and links out to the Shopify Theme Store. All purchases, installation, licensing, and refunds happen on Shopify and are governed by Shopify's own terms and license. Because nothing transactional happens on this site, we do not publish a separate Terms of Service page.

Changes to this policy

If our data handling changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. For any question about your privacy, email support@themi.pro.
