Scrolling text

A ticker. Short phrases run sideways in one continuous band, separated by a small drawn mark. Each Phrase block is one item in the loop.

What it does: Repeats the standing promises without spending a section of the page on them. It is a band of texture between two blocks of content, carrying words rather than a pattern.

The section also carries a Section spacing group. Pick a Device of Desktop or Mobile, then set Top and Bottom. Desktop starts at 48px and mobile at 28px. That is deliberately tighter than a content section, because this is a rule, not a chapter.

Note

It holds still under reduced motion. For a visitor whose device asks for less movement the phrases are set out as a static line instead of travelling, so nothing that matters is only visible while moving.

When to use it: Use it as a rule between sections, or directly under a hero to carry the shipping and returns promises. For several rows crossing each other as a feature in their own right, use Multi scrolling text. For one statement held still, use Text banner.
