Product carousel

One collection, laid out sideways instead of in a grid. There are no product blocks to manage. You name a collection and the section draws it as a track that runs off the edge of the page.
What it does: Shows a long edit without spending the page height a grid of the same products would need. It is the section for “here is the whole of Outerwear” on a page that also has five other things to say.
Key settings (in the section’s settings):
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Color scheme | Section colors. | scheme-paper |
| Collection | Which collection to run. This is the only required setting. | Empty |
| Products to show | 4 to 16. | 8 |
| Heading width | Narrow, Normal, Wide, or Full width. | Wide |
| Heading alignment | Left, center, or right. | Left |
| Subheading | The small label above the heading. | ”The edit” |
| Heading | The headline. Italicize a word to set it in the emphasis font. | ”Outerwear, considered.” |
| Intro text | A line under it. | ”One collection, run sideways…” |
| Layout | Stacked puts the copy above a full-width track. Beside sets the copy to one side with the track running past it. | Stacked |
| Show arrows | The back and forward controls. The track can always be dragged or swiped regardless. | On |
The section also carries a Section spacing group. Pick a Device of Desktop or Mobile, then set Top and Bottom.
Blocks: a Custom Liquid block only, for a card of your own at the end of the track.
When to use it: Use it for a collection of eight or more where a grid would dominate the page. When you want every product visible without anybody having to move anything, use Featured collection, which lays the same products out as a grid and can carry up to three collections behind tabs.
