Feature tiles

The Lapels Feature tiles section: the heading "A small workshop, by the numbers." with the last three words in italic, above an uneven grid of tiles. A large photograph of hands sewing is captioned THE WORKSHOP. Dark tiles read 200 PIECES IN A RUN, 48h ORDER TO SHIPMENT, 5yr FREE MENDS, 12 COLORS IN ALL and KEPT IN STOCK, each with a supporting line.

A panel of tiles that are deliberately not the same size. Each Tile block can carry a figure, a heading and a line of text, or a photograph, or a film. Each one also decides how much of the grid it takes.

What it does: Says several unrelated things at once without four separate sections. A workshop photograph, three numbers and a promise sit in one panel and read as one statement about the house.

When to use it: Use it on an About page, or under a hero on a home page, as a single compact statement of what the store is. When the figures are the entire point and should be read as a row, use Statistics. When every item is a plain promise with an icon, use Icon list.
