Feature tiles

A panel of tiles that are deliberately not the same size. Each Tile block can carry a figure, a heading and a line of text, or a photograph, or a film. Each one also decides how much of the grid it takes.

What it does: Says several unrelated things at once without four separate sections. A workshop photograph, three numbers and a promise sit in one panel and read as one statement about the house.

Key settings (in the section’s settings):

The section also carries a Section spacing group. Pick a Device of Desktop or Mobile, then set Top and Bottom padding from 0 to 200px. Desktop starts at 96px and mobile at 56px.

Size	Auto lets the section decide. Wide takes two columns. Tall takes two rows.	Auto

Tip

Leave most tiles on Auto. The arrangement works because one or two tiles are larger than the rest. Set every tile to Wide and you have an even grid again. Pick the one picture that deserves the room and leave the others alone.

Note

A tile with a Figure and no picture draws as a solid panel in the section’s scheme. A tile with a picture draws as a photograph with its copy over it. Mixing the two is what gives the panel its texture.

When to use it: Use it on an About page, or under a hero on a home page, as a single compact statement of what the store is. When the figures are the entire point and should be read as a row, use Statistics. When every item is a plain promise with an icon, use Icon list.
