Press quote

One line from a publication, set large on a dark band. Each Quote block is one press mention, and where there is more than one the section moves between them on its own.
What it does: Borrows somebody else’s authority. A customer review says the piece was good. A named title saying it means something different, and that is worth its own quiet band rather than a card in a grid.
Key settings (in the section’s settings):
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Color scheme | Section colors. It arrives on the dusk scheme, which is what sets the band apart from the page. | scheme-dusk |
| Autoplay | Moves between quotes where the section holds more than one. | On |
| Duration | How long each quote holds, 4 to 12 seconds. | 4s |
The section also carries a Section spacing group. Pick a Device of Desktop or Mobile, then set Top and Bottom.
Blocks: Quote, up to 12.
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Quote | The line. Keep it to one sentence. This is a pull quote, not an extract. | ”A quiet reproof to the season’s louder collections…” |
| Source name | Who wrote it. | ”Ada Marlow” |
| Publication | Where it appeared. | ”The Tailored Review” |
| Link | The article, if it is online. | Empty |
When to use it: Use it once, high on a home page or an About page, where a claim from outside the store carries most weight. For customer reviews, use Customer quotes. For the store’s own line rather than somebody else’s, use Text banner.
